Buy my Pyrex.

I’ve snagged several vintage Pyrex™ pieces recently, but for some reason they’re not selling. Have a look below and comment if you’ve got any insight or advice!

I love this set of three casserole dishes (apparently the style is called “Woodland Brown”). The largest and smallest are a dark brown, while the medium-sized one is a sort of caramel shade. They’re in very good condition and all have lids, which can be rare with vintage Pyrex. I did some research to find out how much they’re going for on sites like Etsy and eBay, and priced them accordingly, but it’s been a week and the set still hasn’t sold. 😦 Thoughts?

Pyrex “Harvest Autumn Wheat” bowl

This has a couple of small nicks/scratches, but I still figured it would sell for like, $8. No dice. Maybe it’s a seasonal thing and when it gets closer to Thanksgiving, someone will bite.

A very old Pyrex measuring cup

This one I was skeptical about since the red text is so faded, but I figured I could sell it for like, five bucks, by framing its condition as “vintage charm.”  Alas, no takers.  😦

I know my photos aren’t the best, but I’ve tried to make due with the poor lighting in my apartment. I really hope that’s not what’s preventing them from selling. What do you think? Comment below!

And that concludes my new collection of vintage goodies!

All of the lovely pieces shown above are available for purchase in my Etsy shop.

‘Til next time!

You’ve been served.

Hey guys! This post is all about the fabulous servingware I’ve scored from various thrift stores over the past week. The best part? It’s all for sale!

So, I’ve visited several Goodwill stores, the Salvation Army Superstore, and a neat thrift shop called the Wise Penny that I’d never been to before. A lot of the stores were having major sales, which made the items even cheaper!

Let’s begin with my favorite buy, this beautiful serving dish made in Italy…

The colors and design are just so bold and vibrant.

Another favorite, here’s a great piece: a Celtic ceramic pitcher made in Ireland…

I love the avocado green color and the unique geometric pattern!

Next up, check out this cute creamer and teacup set. Not sure of the brand, but it definitely has a vintage vibe.

I also managed to score a couple of blue and white pieces that I absolutely adore.

The mugs remind me of something you’d find in Anthropologie, but at a fraction of the cost. And the pitcher is just so elegant.

These pretty aperitif glasses (set of 8) feature a frosted border with a silver leaf design.

They’re super tiny and dainty. Hopefully they’ll catch someone’s eye!

And finally, check out these beautiful hand painted juice glasses. I was able to pick up a set of 4!

All of these items pictured in this post are for sale in my eBay shop.

Also, I decided to create an Etsy shop just for my vintage finds. Right now, it’s made up of home decor, scarves, and bags. Check it out here!

Today’s haul.

Apropos of my previous post, I did some serious thrifting this morning and added a bunch of new vintage/boho and vintage-inspired items to my eBay shop! I haven’t sold anything yet, but I’m hopeful.

Below are some of the items I added to my shop.

I’m excited to go to a local flea market tomorrow and potentially score some more great vintage stuff!

Have a great weekend.

Thrift n’ Flip? Sure.

Guys! Guys! I am now officially an eBay seller! I decided I may as well try to make some extra $ with all of this thrifting. Most of the items are vintage-inspired/boho home decor.

Check out my eBay seller page here!

Here are some of items that I’ve recently thrifted and am now currently selling:

I’m excited, but also nervous. Send me some good selling vibes! Also, please comment below if you’ve got any insider advice on this eBay stuff!

Bunz.

Just learned about a cool website called Bunz from another thrifty blogger! It’s all about bartering! See below.

So, I’ve become addicted to Bunz. If you don’t know what Bunz is, that could be a good thing. It’s so addictive, especially if you’re like me. A die hard thrifter and an inspiring zero waste life styler. Okay, so I’m not really zero waste, I wish, but I’m into simple living. That includes reducing […]

Cheap thrills.

While browsing several Goodwill stores over the past couple of days, I picked up some fun little gems to add to my never-ending collection of thrifted decor…

When I came across these brass swans, I knew they had to be mine. Very Mid-century. I posted them on my Instagram, and someone commented asking if they were for sale! That made me feel kinda good. I replied, “Not at the moment, but I’ll let you know if that changes!”

To be honest, at one point I had considered going the thrifting-and-flipping route with a friend. I follow a lot of Instagrammers who do that on eBay. It has always struck me as a fun hobby. Plus, the extra cash wouldn’t be so bad. I guess I ultimately figured it would take up too much time and energy. But, now that it’s summer, I have time and energy.

So… should I sell these, or keep them? I mean, I like them, and they were a great find, but I’m not wedded to them. Out of curiosity, I looked them up on eBay and people are selling them for anywhere between $20 and $100. I only paid five dollars for the pair.

Next…

Gotta love pretty little white vases. The one on the right I found at Goodwill for a buck or two, and the one on the right was a gift from my friend and colleague Melyssa (also thrifted). All they need now are some pretty buds.

Lastly…

plant

I know, I know — I’m obsessed with brass, especially brass pots/planters (see here..and here…and here…). This one is fairly small but does the job. Fun fact: the plant inside belongs to my friend Karly…I’m just babysitting it for a while. 😉

I also scored a couple of cool items from a local Salvation Army store, but I’m saving those for a future post.

Enjoy your weekend!

Beth ❤
